The Silk Lady 19 Momme Organic and 22 Momme Pure Mulberry silk pillowcases are of exceptional quality.
Silk is Hypoallergenic made up of strings of amino acid which have the same ph level as your skin making it the most gentle fabric for even the most sensitive skin conditions. Sleeping on our Silk pillowcases prevent facial skin from creasing during the night.
The smooth surface allows the skin to glide across the pillow so the face rests comfortably without placing pressure on creased skin and preventing sleep winkles. Friction is alleviated and moisture is retained in the skin and hair while sleeping providing a hydrated and overall well rested feeling upon waking.
As with other materials Silk does not draw skincare products from the skin and hair whereby assisting with the maximization of your beauty routine.
Sleeping on silk is recommended as it is temperature regulating keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY SILK?
With proper care and maintenance, The Silk lady luxury products will provide years of comfort.
HAND WASHING: For best results, hand wash your silk products inside-out in lukewarm water using a mild detergent. We recommend using The Silk Lady laundry detergent alternatively you may also use a mild baby shampoo or any gentle Sulphur free clear shampoo as Silk is made up of the same proteins as Hair.
MACHINE WASHING: Using a gentle silk or wool cycle, you may wash your silk products no higher than (30 / 86) using a Mild detergent. We recommend using The Silk Lady laundry detergent for best results. Place Silk products in a laundry bag and wash separately from colours.
- Do not bleach.
- Avoid tumble drying and direct sunlight.
- When approximately 90% dry, iron inside-out using a low/silk setting.
Always remove make-up from your skin before going to bed. Not only will your skin benefit from being able to breath but you will also prevent make-up stains on your Luxury Silk products.
