So interesting reading the two different reviews above. I think it's important to note that we all have very different skin types, so unfortunately not everything works for everybody. I am an avid make up lover, I have also spent lots of money on make up as well as foundations and will continue to do because I just love playing with make up. At 47 with combo skin, I've found that my skin is getting somewhat dryer as I age, so I've experimented with several more hydrating foundations and skin tints. I must say I'm very impressed with Hydro Hero, it evens out your skin tone, has light coverage, but your skin still looks like skin. It's a yes for me, and I will continue to use this. I would say that at this price you one can afford to try it and if it doesn't work for you, well then you haven't spent a fortune! I will however say, that if you have dry skin and you're expecting this to be hydrating, I did not find that at all, it's definitely not matt but not overly hydrating either. Having said that it really worked for me and I'm super chuffed! I love your products and that you're making these products accessible to us. I love watching make up tutorials but am always frustrated at the limited ranges and brands we have here in SA!

This tinted cream will work well for those rush hour days or when you in the mood for a natural look. I personally feel its a lovely wear and yes it does its job keeping my skin hydrated for a longer period of time. Purchased it in the shade 20 sun beige (yes I did have my doubts on the shade) but I was amazed how well it suited my tone. Thus I am giving this product a 4 star :)

I waited SO LONG for this product to hit our shores! I REALLY wanted to love this, but what an epic disappointment. Shade range is dismal, but I did find the shade #10 was a good colour for me. That's where the positives end. This product does not absorb evenly into the skin. It clings to areas on the face and leave patches of pigment. I tried this every day for a week, with different skincare underneath, with primer, without primer... ugh... this does NOT blend towards the outer perimeter of the jawline. It moves around, and the more you try blend it, be it with your fingers, brush or sponge, it's absolutely horrendous! It just does not absorb into the skin evenly, it leaves patches of pigment, balls up when you try blend it... I wondered what was going on, so I ended up watching some reviews on Youtube, and my issues with the product were exactly what the Youtubers experienced. And to be honest, for R113, I felt ripped off (to be transparent, I have spent R1300 on my most expensive foundation, but I got what I paid for. This product really made me feel like I could have done better things with that R100). It's a NO from me. It got 1 star only because I really do love the packaging.
